US Treasury Secretary Scott Beisent plans to start a series of interviews on Friday to find a candidate for the position of Chair of the Federal Reserve Board, according to The Wall Street Journal citing informed sources.
The newspaper stated that the interviews will continue into next week, and there are 11 candidates to succeed Jerome Powell, including Christopher Waller, Michelle Bowman, Kevin Hassett, and Kevin Warsh.
