The 21st edition of the International Education Fair, organized by Expo Centre Sharjah with support from the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and a strategic partnership with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, attracted more than 30,000 visitors including students and their parents.
The fair witnessed wide participation, featuring over 100 prestigious universities and academic institutions from more than 16 countries.
Held over four days and recently concluded at Expo Centre Sharjah, the fair offered visitors a unique opportunity to explore the latest academic programs and educational options presented by renowned universities worldwide, including countries such as the United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, Hungary, the United States, Georgia, Malaysia, India, and others.
The displayed specializations varied to meet the needs of youth and prepare them for the job market, including medicine, engineering, management, information technology, and other fields aligned with contemporary demands.
UAE universities attracted notable attention from those seeking innovative educational programs, with leading academic institutions such as Higher Colleges of Technology, United Arab Emirates University, Khalifa University, Zayed University, Indian Institute of Technology – Delhi Abu Dhabi branch, American University of Sharjah, American University of Ras Al Khaimah, and University of Sharjah showcasing their latest educational tracks aligned with future knowledge-based economy trends.
Saif Mohammed Al Madfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, emphasized that the fair, organized in cooperation with the Sharjah Private Education Authority and the Ministry of Education in India, is a vital community service. It successfully guides youth annually towards in-demand specializations and provides them with information to make decisive choices regarding their academic and professional futures, contributing to community development and supporting the country’s journey towards building a sustainable knowledge economy.
The fair provided students and parents with a comprehensive and integrated platform. This year’s edition featured the latest technological innovations in smart education, in addition to workshops and interactive seminars presented by a select group of experts and academics. The accompanying events helped empower students to make informed decisions, providing accurate information on admission requirements and scholarships, and highlighting future skills required by the labor market.
