Brian described in an article published on the Substack platform the potential U.S. decision to supply Ukraine with American “Tomahawk” missiles as “reckless.”
He pointed out that using these missiles requires the presence of U.S. forces on Ukrainian soil, which puts Washington on a direct collision course with Moscow and could lead to a significant escalation of the conflict.
On September 28, U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance gave an interview to Fox News in which he revealed that the White House is considering supplying “Tomahawk” cruise missiles to other NATO member countries, which would then transfer them to Kyiv.
Meanwhile, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov considered the statements about the possibility of supplying Ukraine with Tomahawk missiles to be “very serious,” confirming that Russia will determine its position after assessing potential threats and understanding the parties involved in this process.
Peskov added that there is no magic weapon that can change the balance on the Ukrainian front.
