In an interview with “Annahar” on the sidelines of the “GITEX 2025” exhibition in Dubai, Dr. Abdullah Mohammed Al-Shammari, Executive Director of the National Talent Empowerment Sector and Mawaheb Center at the Government Empowerment Department – Abu Dhabi, stated that “today witnessed the launch of the Mawaheb platform, one of the initiatives launched by the department, which specializes in supporting job seekers through the use of artificial intelligence technologies.”

Al-Shammari explained that the platform works to align labor market requirements with the details found in job seekers’ resumes.

He added that the Mawaheb initiative embodies the UAE’s efforts to support a knowledge-based economy, empower national competencies, and link them to labor market and national economy requirements.

The “GITEX Global 2025” exhibition opened today in Dubai and will continue until October 17, confirming the city’s position as a global capital for innovation and digital transformation.

The event, organized by the Dubai World Trade Center, is the largest technology platform in the region and the world, with participation exceeding 6,500 exhibitors, 1,800 startups, and 1,200 investors from more than 180 countries, making it a pivotal meeting point for tech giants, investors, and decision-makers.
