Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister of Egypt, stated that there are presidential directives to expand Egyptian Japanese schools to exceed 100 schools.

He added during a press conference on the sidelines of his inspection tour of several projects in Menoufia today, Tuesday, that the country is already close to reaching this number, and a ambitious plan is underway to exceed 500 schools.

He pointed out that this model is very successful and is based on the Japanese education system, which is globally recognized as one of the best education systems in the world.

He confirmed that these schools, along with experimental schools, are in very high demand from Egyptian families with low and middle incomes.

On another matter, Madbouly reported that the development project of the Shebin Spinning Factory is nearing completion and close to entering the operational phase, noting that he was keen to inspect the factory and review the progress made on the ground.

He highlighted that such factories date back to the 1950s, had become completely outdated and ceased operations, but this industry is being revived with strong will from the Egyptian state.

He explained that the state is spending billions of Egyptian pounds to develop these factories within an integrated work system to complete the value chain of benefiting from Egyptian cotton.

He confirmed that the investments made in the Shebin Spinning Factory reached two billion Egyptian pounds, to return it to the work system, with efforts to involve the private sector in management and operation to avoid repeating past mistakes.
