Cairo, October 8 /BNA/ – Star player Mohamed Salah led the Egyptian national football team to qualify for the 2026 World Cup finals by scoring two goals in the Pharaohs’ 3-0 victory over Djibouti in the ninth round of the African first group qualifiers, held at the Arab El Zawali Stadium in Casablanca, Morocco.
Ibrahim Adel opened the scoring in the 8th minute, before Salah added the second goal in the 14th minute with an assist from Mahmoud Hassan “Trezeguet,” and Salah sealed the scoring in the 84th minute after a pass from Marwan Attia.
