Dr. Abdel Mahdi Matawa, a Palestinian political analyst, stated that Israel considers any losses—whether human, economic, or even in its relations with other countries—as acceptable losses to achieve its strategic goal of changing the demographic status in Palestine.

Abdel Mahdi Matawa added during an interview with Extra News channel that the reactions to the military operation in Gaza were exaggerated to justify the operation. He confirmed that nothing remains of Gaza City except small areas that Israel has not entered, and Israel benefited from this exaggeration through false leaks claiming it is destroying every residential block completely.

Abdel Mahdi Matawa explained that the military operation in Gaza is carried out under the cover of a plan attributed to former US President Trump, and they are seeking ways to legally justify this crime. He pointed out that emptying and completely destroying Gaza City is not important compared to the losses incurred to destroy the city, which is the main goal.
