The Second Terrorism Circuit, convened at Badr Courts Complex and headed by Judge Wagdy Abdel Moneim, is presiding today over the trial of 73 defendants in the case known as the Gathering terrorist cell.
The session is chaired by Judge Wagdy Abdel Moneim with members Judges Abdel Galil Miftah and Diaa Amer, and secretariat Mohamed Hilal.
The referral order in case number 11926 of 2022, Fifth Settlement Felonies, registered under number 1237 of 2022 New Cairo Felonies and number 627 of 2021 Supreme State Security Cases, refers 73 defendants from terrorist groups, including 47 detained and 26 fugitives, to urgent trial on charges of joining a terrorist group established contrary to the law.
