Dr. Ahmed Al-Ansari, Governor of Fayoum, during the regular citizen service meeting, directed the provision of necessary social protection interventions for the most vulnerable families, including urgent financial aid, monthly pensions, developmental projects, job opportunities in private sector companies and factories, and kiosk licenses for youth and female breadwinners, including people with disabilities. Additionally, medical care and treatment at the state’s expense will be provided for several medical cases.

This was in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Al-Touni, Deputy Governor, Kamel Ali Ghattas, Secretary-General, Ahmed Shaker, Assistant Secretary-General, several service directorate leaders and managers in the governorate, representatives of civil society organizations, representatives of the “Egypt Giving” committee at the Fayoum Doctors Syndicate, and officials from relevant executive bodies.

During the meeting, the governor directed the Social Solidarity Directorate to coordinate with NGOs and charitable institutions to provide necessary social support for some cases, including supplying a hearing aid for an elderly person suffering from hearing loss and studying the repayment of debts for a woman in debt after assessing her social situation.

Dr. Al-Ansari also ordered the provision of necessary funding to launch small and micro projects for youth and women, especially those with special needs, through the Project Development Authority, village development departments, or the “Mashroak” program.

The governor listened to the demands of several young men and women seeking work and instructed the Labor Directorate officials to provide suitable jobs for them in private sector institutions according to their qualifications, with field follow-up to ensure companies comply with wages and legal rights.

In the health sector, the governor directed the Deputy Minister of Health and the director of the Health Insurance Authority branch to provide necessary treatment for several medical cases, including a woman suffering from kidney tumors, osteoporosis, diabetes, and high blood pressure. He ordered her transfer by a governorate vehicle to the Health Insurance Hospital and assigned a specialized employee to accompany her until the examinations are completed. He also ordered examination and treatment for an elderly man suffering from kidney stones.

In the education sector, the governor discussed the request of a teacher at the “Girls’ Friend” school in Matoul village, who cares for her autistic child and wishes to transfer to the child’s school.

He directed that her case be legally studied and the Minister of Education be contacted regarding this matter. He also ordered the study of a guardian’s request for his two daughters to enroll in the first grade at one of the Azhar institutes.

Regarding kiosk licenses, the governor tasked city council heads with reviewing requests from several citizens, giving priority to female breadwinners and people with special needs, and providing necessary support in coordination with NGOs. He also ordered a review of a kiosk license in the Keman Faris area and the removal of any violations if found.

At the end of the meeting, the Fayoum governor confirmed that these meetings aim to provide real support to the most needy citizens, moving them from the stage of aid to self-sufficiency, work, and production, achieving the state’s vision of social justice and providing a decent life.
