Engineer Abdel-Muttalib Amara, Governor of Luxor, inspected several developmental and service projects in the Al-Bayadiya and Al-Ziniya centers on Monday evening as part of his ongoing field tours. He began with a visit to the Al-Baghdadi industrial zone, accompanied by Abdel Khaleq Hussein, head of Al-Bayadiya center and city, Mustafa Abdel Halim, director of the industrial zone, and engineer Mari Rouhi, director of electricity projects in the governorate.
During the tour, the governor directed the rapid paving of internal roads in the industrial zone to facilitate investors and factory owners, stressing the importance of completing work inside the industrial city. Then, he proceeded to Al-Bani road in Al-Madamoud village, affiliated with Al-Ziniya center and city, accompanied by Ahmed Abu Eish, head of the center. He inspected the road, which is about 2 kilometers long and connects the bottom of Samir Faraj axis to the village entrance. The governor instructed the Directorate of Roads and Transport to urgently study paving the road and tasked the electricity department with lighting the road and installing the necessary lighting poles after paving is completed.
In the evening, Engineer Abdel-Muttalib Amara led an inspection tour in Al-Toud center and city to follow up on the social housing project consisting of 30 residential buildings with 600 units, scheduled to be delivered soon to those who booked since 2008. Buildings 21 to 25 will be delivered in the first phase. During the tour, the governor inspected several apartments and personally tested the operation of utilities such as water and electricity. He also directed the Roads Directorate to level and pave the road leading to the buildings, starting from the International Youth Hostel to the project entrance, including paving, patching, and installing interlocking tiles on the cross and longitudinal sectors in front of the entrances.
