Today, the Damascus Governorate and the Syrian Development Organization (SDO) signed a strategic framework agreement for joint cooperation aimed at enhancing sustainable local development and developing institutional capacities within a comprehensive national vision based on community participation and balanced planning, at the governorate’s building.
Maher Marwan Idlibi, Governor of Damascus, affirmed that the agreement comes within the framework of unifying efforts towards more efficient and sustainable local development.
The agreement aligns with the governorate’s approach to promoting sustainable local development through institutional partnerships aiming to transform community needs into actionable projects and achieve integration between governmental and community entities.
