His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Deputy King and Crown Prince, chaired the weekly Cabinet meeting held at Al-Qudaibiya Palace, where several important memoranda were discussed.

At the start of the meeting, the Council extended sincere congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on the occasion of the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday, praying for blessings, security, and peace for the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Arab and Islamic nations.

The Council followed up on the Crown Prince’s directive to hold an orientation day at all public schools for parents, where educational and administrative staff explain the new academic year, wishing success to students and staff for the 2025-2026 school year.

The Council affirmed Bahrain’s support for all initiatives that promote a culture of charitable work in society, coinciding with the International Day of Charity.

The Council approved the following memoranda:

    • The Coordinating Committee’s memorandum on a package of priority draft laws to meet development requirements for the benefit of citizens.
    • The Ministerial Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee’s memorandum approving an agreement between Bahrain and the International Date Palm Observatory to establish its headquarters in Bahrain.
    • The Minister of Municipalities’ memorandum regarding the expropriation of several properties for public benefit to provide necessary spaces for urban development.
    • The Minister of Cabinet Affairs’ memorandum on the education and training system report for the academic year 2024-2025.
    • The Minister of Cabinet Affairs’ memorandum proposing a general framework for reviewing the performance of special education needs institutions.
    • The Ministerial Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee’s memorandum responding to government replies on draft laws and proposals submitted by the Council of Representatives.

    The Council also took note of ministerial reports on:

    • Results of participation in the ministerial meeting to establish a binding legal instrument to end plastic pollution, including marine environments.
    • Outcomes of participation in the Tatarstan Oil, Gas, and Petrochemicals Forum 2025.
    • Results of the Minister of Youth Affairs’ visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
    • External participations of ministers and visits of ministers from friendly and brotherly countries to Bahrain in September 2025.
