The sculpture of the Dallah Coffee Fountain in Taif symbolizes generosity, authenticity, and cultural heritage. It stood proudly on cylindrical columns in central Taif for over 45 years before being relocated to the Al-Radaf area. Artist Mohamed Al-Adwani told Al-Riyadh that this fountain is one of the oldest aesthetic sculptures, a prominent heritage landmark that has decorated the city and is deeply connected to the memories of its people. It was originally located in what is now known as ‘Al-Alam Square,’ one of Taif’s main roads. The fountain represents a heritage symbol reflecting authentic values and hospitality, inspiring poets and evoking nostalgia among those familiar with Taif’s finest images. It is more than just stone or metal; it is a distinctive imprint in the city’s aesthetic landscape and a story embodying Taif’s generous hospitality, destined to remain immortal in the collective memory despite its relocation.
