Hundreds of thousands of displaced Palestinian citizens continue to return to Gaza City and other areas amid tons of rubble and destruction caused by the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip over two years.
According to the Palestinian News and Information Agency “Wafa”, on Sunday, the displaced are walking along Al-Rashid and Salah al-Din streets for at least seven kilometers on foot, many of whom have no homes to return to.
According to the agency, “Al-Rashid coastal street extends from the north of the Gaza Strip to its south, where during the extermination war, dozens of massacres were committed by the occupation forces against citizens who were on their way to flee from north to south.”
On September 29, former US President Donald Trump announced what he called a “peace plan” consisting of 20 points.
After indirect negotiations between delegations of Hamas and Israel, under American, Egyptian, and Qatari sponsorship, an agreement was announced last Thursday in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, regarding the first phase of Trump’s peace plan for the Gaza Strip.
