Israeli activists have placed signs in several streets across the country supporting US President Donald Trump’s plan for a potential prisoner exchange deal between Tel Aviv and Hamas.

According to Anadolu Agency’s correspondent, the large signs display images of Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Jordan’s King Abdullah II, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, UAE’s Mohammed bin Zayed, Indonesian President Joko Widodo, and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

The signs were put up on the initiative of the Israeli Regional Security Coalition, a political initiative that includes more than 120 former senior officials in security, politics, and economics.

Some signs read in English: “Mr. President (Trump), Israel supports your plan, make the deal.”

On Sunday, the coalition posted on the US platform X: “The Israeli Regional Security Coalition launched a new national advertising campaign urging the government to support President Trump’s initiative to end the war in Gaza (the Israeli genocide) and expand the Abraham Accords (normalization).”

Trump’s plan, unveiled Tuesday during his meeting with leaders of Arab and Islamic countries at the UN General Assembly meetings in New York, includes an immediate ceasefire, the release of all Israeli detainees within 48 hours, and the formation of two international and Palestinian bodies to manage the Gaza Strip without Hamas involvement, according to The Washington Post.
