Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid stated that Hamas’ response to recent initiatives included most of the proposed conditions, making a prisoner exchange deal possible. However, he pointed out that Israel is not effectively communicating with mediators, which hinders progress. Meanwhile, protests by families of Israeli captives began Tuesday morning in various Israeli cities, demanding that Benjamin Netanyahu’s government approve the prisoner exchange deal. The day of protests started at 6:29 AM in Tel Aviv, including tire burning and large flags displayed on roads. Families called on Netanyahu to stop delaying and obstructing negotiations. Massive marches are planned across Israel at noon, with a march to the “Prisoners’ Square” in Tel Aviv at 7:00 PM, followed by the main demonstration at 8:00 PM.

Israeli media reported that protesters blocked Elon Street and gathered at the Capri intersection to pressure the government, accusing Prime Minister Netanyahu of continuing a war without clear goals and risking the hostages’ lives to stay in power.
