“Kita” is celebrating one year since launching its operations in Saudi Arabia, an achievement made possible thanks to the trust, strong bonds, and shared journey with its customers, partner restaurants, and delivery drivers.

Since its launch in Al Kharj city in September 2024, “Kita” has expanded to cover more than 20 cities, including Riyadh, Jeddah, Mecca, Medina, and the Eastern Province. Today, the company collaborates with over 48,000 local restaurants and supports a network of more than 49,000 delivery drivers, contributing to the growth of the Kingdom’s digital economy.

Since inception, “Kita” drivers have covered over 730 million kilometers across the Kingdom, playing a pivotal role in connecting communities and providing fast meal access. The average delivery time is just 29 minutes, reflecting the platform’s commitment to efficiency and reliability.

As part of its renewed commitment to Saudi Arabia, this month also marks the opening of “Kita”‘s new office in Riyadh, the company’s first regional headquarters. This move embodies “Kita”‘s focus on developing national talent, strengthening partnerships with the Saudi business sector, and aligning with Saudi Vision 2030. “Kita” currently employs over 1,000 staff in the Kingdom, solidifying its presence in the national economy and labor market.

The Riyadh headquarters will serve as a center for continuous innovation, talent development, and enhanced collaboration with partners, supporting “Kita”‘s mission: “Helping people eat better and live better.”

Ashley Wang, General Manager of “Kita” in the Middle East, said: “This first year marks an important milestone in Kita’s journey within the Kingdom. It has been a year of building strong partnerships and embedding ourselves in the Saudi community. We are extremely grateful for the trust everyone has placed in us and look forward to continuing to invest in talent, technology, and partnerships to keep serving the Kingdom and contributing to its vibrant economy.”

As it celebrates its first year, “Kita” looks forward to its second year with plans to expand to more cities, enhance its partner ecosystem, and drive innovation in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
