Cairo, September 3 /BNA/ In the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, and within the framework of his official visit to the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt regarding cooperation in the field of development planning and sustainable development. The MoU was signed on the Bahraini side by Her Excellency Mrs. Noor bint Ali Al Khalifa, Minister of Sustainable Development and CEO of the Economic Development Board, and on the Egyptian side by Her Excellency Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation.
On this occasion, Her Excellency the Minister of Sustainable Development and CEO of the Economic Development Board affirmed the deep and strong historical relations linking the Kingdom of Bahrain and the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt, and the continuous growth witnessed in various fields, especially in development and sustainable development, supporting the achievement of shared goals and interests.
The Memorandum of Understanding aims to enhance the frameworks of joint cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt in sustainable development fields, exchange technical experiences and best practices that ensure sustainability and innovation, and support initiatives aimed at sustainability, contributing to the development of promising sectors and supporting the developmental visions of the two brotherly countries.
