Manama, September 3 /BNA/ During the official visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed in the field of labor and human resources development between the Ministry of Labor of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Ministry of Labor of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

On this occasion, His Excellency Mr. Youssef bin Abdulhussain Khalaf, Minister of Legal Affairs and Acting Minister of Labor, praised the distinguished relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Arab Republic of Egypt, affirming that the signing of this memorandum reflects the keenness of the two brotherly countries to develop relations in various fields, including human resources development, benefiting from the exchange of successful experiences and expertise in the labor market, especially regarding the development and qualification of human resources to keep pace with the latest developments in this regard, in addition to developing the necessary capabilities and skills for youth to integrate into the labor market and providing support to the private sector to attract and employ citizens.

The memorandum aims to enhance cooperation between the two brotherly countries in the field of national labor legislation, organizing labor relations including working conditions and occupational safety and health requirements, in addition to exchanging expertise to provide technical advice, implementing joint work programs in this framework, alongside exchanging the latest information and statistical indicators related to the labor market, and coordinating efforts between the two parties at regional and international levels to highlight the shared experiences of the two countries in the fields of labor and human resources development.
