Omar Maghrabil, CEO of the Saudi Professional League Association, explained that some sports facilities’ unreadiness has impacted the completion of the Saudi Professional League schedule until the end of the season. He emphasized that Saudi clubs are now capable of attracting the world’s best players and that the league is among the fastest growing globally. Maghrabil revealed that next season’s stadium seating will be distributed with 90% for home fans and 10% for visiting fans. The association is focused on improving fan experience through marketing and event organization. The player recruitment program is an investment initiative involving all clubs, with varying capacities to manage star players. The association collaborates with a leading English Premier League company to assist in scheduling, but some facilities’ unreadiness affects full scheduling. Additionally, clubs in Jeddah play most of their home games in the first half of the season due to stadium availability.

The Africa Cup of Nations, held outside FIFA dates, directly impacts global leagues, and the association plans to study this issue for future solutions.
