On Tuesday, dozens of humanitarian aid trucks crossed from the Rafah sub-gate heading to the Kerem Abu Salem crossing, in preparation for delivering the aid to Palestinian relief agencies. A specialized source at the Rafah land crossing confirmed that convoys loaded with food supplies, medicines, medical necessities, and essential needs were moved. Upon arrival at Kerem Abu Salem crossing, the trucks undergo inspection and unloading before being handed over to the Palestinian Red Crescent and UN relief agencies. Yesterday, Monday, 143 trucks carrying humanitarian and relief aid entered from Rafah land crossing to Kerem Abu Salem crossing for delivery to the Palestinian side. The distribution included: 14 trucks from the Egyptian Red Crescent, 12 trucks from the National Coalition for Developmental Civic Work, 14 trucks from Qatar, one truck from Beit Al-Zakat, 72 trucks from the United Nations, and 3 solar fuel trucks designated for hospital operations.
Since July 27 until yesterday, a total of 3,129 trucks have entered through Rafah land crossing, transporting approximately 22,000 tons of humanitarian and relief aid.
