Security forces in Kafr El Sheikh Governorate, under the supervision of Major General Ihab Atiya, Assistant Minister of Interior and Director of Kafr El Sheikh Security, arrested two unemployed men, one with a criminal record, residing in Motobus center, found in possession of various drugs and a firearm before distributing drugs in the villages of the center.
Major General Ihab Atiya received a report from Major General Mohamed Fawzy, Director of the Criminal Investigation Department, indicating that the two unemployed men in Motobus center were trafficking narcotics, and a security plan was prepared to arrest them.
After legal procedures, at a checkpoint, the suspects were arrested with 1 kilogram of hashish, 500 grams of heroin, 100 grams of methamphetamine (shabu), a shotgun, cash, and two mobile phones. Upon confrontation, they admitted possession intending to traffic the drugs.
The seized items were confiscated, a report was filed, and the suspects were referred to the public prosecutor who ordered their detention pending investigation.
