The National Center for Meteorology forecasted, God willing, the continuation of heavy thunderstorm rains leading to flood flows accompanied by hail showers and active winds stirring dust and sand over parts of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha regions. Moderate to heavy rains are expected over parts of Makkah, Madinah, and Najran regions, with possible fog formation over the highlands of these areas. The sky will be partly to mostly cloudy with a chance of light to moderate thunderstorm rains accompanied by active winds limiting horizontal visibility in the southern parts of the Eastern and Riyadh regions, as well as parts of Hail region.
The report indicated that surface winds over the Red Sea are northwesterly to northerly in the northern and central parts at speeds of 15-35 km/h, and southwesterly to northwesterly in the southern part at speeds of 20-43 km/h, reaching over 50 km/h, with thunderstorm clouds forming over the southern and central parts. Wave heights range from half a meter to one and a half meters in the northern and central parts, and from one to two meters in the southern part, reaching over two and a half meters, with thunderstorm clouds forming over the southern and central parts. The sea state is light to moderate, becoming rough with thunderstorm clouds over the southern and central parts.
Surface winds over the Arabian Gulf are northwesterly to northerly in the northern and central parts, and southeasterly to northeasterly in the southern part at speeds of 15-35 km/h, with wave heights from half a meter to one and a half meters, and the sea state is light to moderate.
