Amman, September 1 (Petra) – Engineer Mousa Al-Saket, Chairman of the Administrative Board of the Hayat Education Fund Association, stated that since its establishment in 2009, the fund has provided more than 8.25 million Jordanian dinars in the form of scholarships, soft loans, and one-time assistance, benefiting over 5,000 students across various governorates of the Kingdom.
During the association’s 16th anniversary celebration, he added that the association primarily aims to provide university education and vocational training opportunities to support financially disadvantaged but academically outstanding university and vocational institute students after high school. The fund helps students gain access to education and training through scholarships and interest-free loans, enabling them to build a better future for themselves and their communities.
He noted that the fund’s continued support for students results from the efforts of those managing the charitable project and the belief of its supporters in the fund’s mission and goals. The Hayat Education Fund emphasizes the importance of education in human life and building professional capacities to empower youth to join the labor market, ultimately benefiting society and helping reduce poverty and unemployment rates.
The fund has opened branches in Irbid and Aqaba governorates, where more than 176 students have benefited from its programs in Aqaba, with 8,403 training hours and 5,433 hours of volunteering and community service implemented.
Since its inception, the Hayat Education Fund has signed numerous agreements and memorandums of understanding with ministries, universities, and civil society organizations to diversify the services it offers to students and contribute to local community development.
