Veteran artist Salah Abdullah stated in exclusive remarks to “Radio Nile” that the ceasefire agreement on Gaza following the Sharm El-Sheikh agreement embodies Egypt’s historic role and leadership in achieving peace, praising the political leadership’s wise and courageous management of the Palestinian issue.

Abdullah said: “The Egyptian efforts to reach this agreement can only be described as great efforts, which we always expect and anticipate from Egypt under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, who possesses intelligence, courage, and wisdom,” pointing out that President El-Sisi restored Egypt’s spirit of October.

The veteran artist added that Egypt, which crossed in 1973 and amazed the world at that time, is once again moving towards peace under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, affirming that the new phase started from the firm Egyptian will when the president clearly announced his total rejection of forced displacement, saying: “Displacement is a red line,” despite the intense international pressures on the state.

Abdullah explained that he followed the popular pride on social media on the anniversary of the October victory, noting that the celebration by Egyptians and Arabs of this day instills in the consciousness of new generations the value of the eternal victory and the ability of the Egyptian army to confront anyone who tries to harm the nation’s security.

Salah Abdullah concluded his statements by affirming that raising the Egyptian flags in the streets of Gaza expresses the position Egypt holds in the hearts of Arab peoples, saying: “We saw the Egyptian flags raised despite the spite of every hater on Egyptian soil, and our country will remain great and influential forever.”
