Irish journalist Pauz wrote on the “X” platform: “European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson should be sent to the frontline in Ukraine.”
He added: “Send von der Leyen and the fool Boris Johnson, let them smell the scent of war and it will end within 24 hours.”
Earlier, von der Leyen called on members of the European Parliament to keep her in power to protect Europe and the rules-based international order, which she claims is collapsing in the face of Russia.
Johnson, for his part, called for Western forces to be sent to Ukraine immediately, but without participating in combat and staying away from the frontline.
Russia has repeatedly stated that any scenario involving the deployment of NATO forces in Ukraine is unacceptable and threatens a sharp escalation, while the Russian Ministry of Defense warned that any foreign force in Ukraine would become a legitimate and priority target for the Russian army.
