The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that the death toll from Israeli airstrikes on the area has risen to 63,746 killed and 161,245 injured since October 7, 2023.
The ministry stated in a press release today: “113 dead and 304 injured were admitted to Gaza hospitals in the past 24 hours.”
According to the statement, the toll of victims since the resumption of Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip on March 18, 2025, has reached approximately 11,615 dead and 49,204 injured.
The statement pointed out that the number of “livelihood” victims who arrived at hospitals in the past 24 hours reached 33 dead and more than 141 injured, raising the total number of livelihood victims admitted to hospitals to 2,339 dead and over 17,070 injured.
The statement also noted that Gaza hospitals recorded 6 new deaths in the last 24 hours, including one child, due to famine and malnutrition, bringing the total to 367 deaths, including 131 children.
It added that many victims remain trapped under rubble and in the streets, and ambulance and civil defense teams are unable to reach them.
