Conflicting information about Homs explosion
Information across the border is conflicting; while a party source said an explosion hit Syrian militants in a former Hezbollah warehouse in the countryside of Al-Qusayr, another source said the explosion was caused by a landmine leftover from smugglers in the Safawi area, while Hezbollah’s weapons depot was found underground in Homs.
Moscow: Security guarantees demanded by Kyiv pose a “danger” to Europe
On Thursday, Russia condemned the security guarantees demanded by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as part of any settlement of the conflict in his country, considering them “dangerous guarantees for the European continent.”
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told reporters during an economic conference in Vladivostok in Russia’s Far East that Moscow considers these demands “completely unacceptable,” adding, “These are not security guarantees for Ukraine, but dangerous guarantees for the European continent.”
Third in less than 24 hours… Missile launch from Yemen towards Israel detected
