MISSION+, a consulting firm founded in Singapore, announced the expansion of its operations in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries by opening a new headquarters at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
The company signed a memorandum of understanding with the Data Protection Commissioner at DIFC to obtain accreditation from the American Certification Body (ACB); this accreditation, if obtained, will allow the company to issue certifications for autonomous and semi-autonomous systems that process personal data, including artificial intelligence systems.
Nick Martin, CEO and co-founder of MISSION+, said: “Boards of directors are overwhelmed by numerous strategy documents and are seeking leaders capable of supporting and achieving their goals. Our expansion in the region reflects our ongoing commitment to providing technical leadership that delivers tangible results in complex work environments requiring the highest levels of accuracy and reliability.”
Ned Lo, CTO and co-founder of MISSION+, added: “As builders and developers, we strive to make a positive and tangible difference. Therefore, adopting AI responsibly is not an option but a necessity to ensure that the systems we develop are sustainable, compliant with the highest regulatory standards, and valuable in the real world, not just shiny technologies that fail to meet real user needs. Through close collaboration with our clients, we not only provide institutions with necessary tools but also empower them to continue innovating.”
Founded in 2019, MISSION+ is a specialized company working hard to bridge the gap between strategic planning and effective execution by combining part-time executive leadership with highly skilled technical teams. This integration aims to enable organizations to stabilize their complex programs, enhance execution efficiency, and support responsible adoption of AI and data solutions. After successfully working with various sectors under strict regulations across Asia, the company is currently expanding this expertise and transferring it to the Gulf region.
