The Arabian Travel Market 2026 exhibition highlights the key future trends expected to shape the global travel and tourism sector in the coming years, focusing on the role of innovation and modern technologies in enhancing the traveler experience across all stages of the journey.
The event will be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from May 4 to 7, 2026, under the theme “The Future of Travel in 2040: New Horizons through Innovation and Technology,” offering the global travel community an opportunity to explore new growth prospects, accelerate digital transformation adoption, and promote sustainability and resilience in the sector.
Accelerating Change Factors
In this context, Danielle Curtis, Director of the Arabian Travel Market in the Middle East, said: “The next ten years will be pivotal for the travel and tourism sector amid accelerating change factors. The exhibition provides a vital platform to showcase the sector’s readiness for the future and explore growth opportunities, especially in the Middle East region, which seeks to enhance its share in the global tourism market.”
Data from the World Economic Forum indicates that the travel and tourism sector will witness 30 billion tourist visits and contribute $16 trillion to the global GDP by 2034.
Technological Solutions
Reflecting the growing convergence between technology and the tourism industry, the event will host for the first time a comprehensive travel technology exhibition under one umbrella directly connected to the Arabian Travel Market. It will focus on key modern technology solutions such as AI-powered trip planning, immersive travel experiences, smart payments, fintech, as well as mobility and cybersecurity solutions in the tourism sector.
The IBTM@ATM exhibition returns in its 2026 edition after the success of its first edition, bringing together the business events community under one roof, including meeting, conference, exhibition, and major event organizers, alongside buyers from major companies and suppliers in the sector.
For the first time, the exhibition also offers the ATM Ultra Luxury Lounge, an exclusive space dedicated to networking between high-net-worth individuals and global brands in luxury hotels, private aviation, and luxury yachts, enhancing the presence of the luxury sector within the Arabian Travel Market agenda.
