Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sharaa will participate in the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly held next month in New York, according to a Foreign Ministry official who spoke to AFP on Monday. The official, speaking anonymously, stated that President Al-Sharaa will deliver a speech, marking the first time a Syrian president has spoken at the UN since 1967.
