Scalco Investment, Real Estate Development, and Metal Construction Company participated in the 62nd edition of the Damascus International Fair, within the Syrian-Saudi Economic Pavilion, as part of supporting reconstruction efforts and enhancing investment cooperation between the two countries.
In a statement to SANA, company representative Mahmoud Al-Maghrabi confirmed that this participation reflects the vision of the Syrian-Saudi Business Council in supporting the reconstruction phase in Syria, praising the atmosphere of the fair and considering it the beginning of promising economic partnerships across various sectors.
He explained that the company is about to sign several agreements in the coming weeks in vital fields including energy, infrastructure, and maintenance of roads and bridges, affirming that the details of these projects will become clearer next month.
Al-Maghrabi indicated that the company’s success in executing quality projects in the Saudi market was a key driver for expanding into Syria, saying: “Our extensive experience in projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia qualified us to be part of the reconstruction efforts in Syria, and we look forward to close cooperation with local partners to achieve tangible results on the ground.”
Scalco’s participation in the current session of the Damascus International Fair and the opening of its office in Damascus comes at a time when Syria is witnessing increasing interest from regional and international companies wishing to enter the Syrian market, amid national plans for reconstruction and boosting development across various sectors.
