Cairo, September 3 /BNA/ Her Excellency Mrs. Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Arab Republic of Egypt and Permanent Delegate to the Arab League, affirmed that the official visit made by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt marked a significant milestone in the historical and close relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Arab Republic of Egypt, inaugurating a qualitative shift that establishes a new phase of strategic cooperation and effective partnership.

Her Excellency confirmed that His Highness’s meetings with His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, reflected the depth of the strategic ties and strong fraternal bonds based on mutual trust and shared visions, pointing out that the outcomes of these meetings will positively impact the enhancement of cooperation in various political, economic, investment, and developmental sectors.

She pointed out that the convening of the Bahraini-Egyptian Business Council on the sidelines of the visit represented a qualitative step towards opening new horizons for economic and commercial partnership, supporting joint investment opportunities and fulfilling the aspirations of the private sector in both countries, confirming that the agreements signed and consensus reached during the council constitute an additional pillar to strengthen the bilateral cooperation journey in the coming phase.

She also emphasized that the visit confirmed Egypt’s pivotal role in supporting Arab national security and consolidating regional stability, noting the alignment of visions between the leaderships of the two countries on Arab, regional, and international issues, foremost among them the Palestinian cause, where it was stressed that reaching a just and lasting solution guaranteeing the legitimate rights of the brotherly Palestinian people, stopping escalation, protecting civilians, and supporting relief efforts and reconstruction of Gaza are necessary.

The Ambassador expressed pride in the growing development of Bahraini-Egyptian relations under the gracious care and continuous support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the revered King of the Kingdom, and his brother His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, with the diligent follow-up of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, affirming that the coming phase will witness a broader launch in bilateral cooperation fields, stressing that the outcomes of this visit will positively reflect on the path of development and prosperity in both countries and open wide horizons for new strategic partnerships beneficial to the two brotherly peoples.
