Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met on Monday in Kyiv with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre to discuss Ukraine’s defense needs, support for sanctions on Russia, and cooperation with partners regarding security guarantees. Zelensky stated on Facebook, as reported by Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform, that they also discussed energy cooperation, the ‘Return of Ukrainian Children’ alliance, diplomatic prospects, and coordination on security guarantees. Zelensky expressed gratitude for the visit and Norway’s sincere commitment to Ukraine. Støre arrived in Kyiv on a visit during which Norway announced allocating approximately $700 million for Ukraine’s air defense systems.
