Zakharova stated on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum held in Vladivostok, Russia, that the ongoing procrastination in this matter will not change the inevitability of facing these facts.

She added: “What is happening now reflects the fact that the West is either unwilling, unable, or not ready to start working on addressing the fundamental causes of the crisis. They are doing everything to distract attention and perhaps delay the inevitable, but work must begin to remove the root causes of this crisis, this conflict, this tragedy.”

She explained that what she described as “the Nazi nature of the Kyiv regime” is at the forefront of the root causes of the crisis, emphasizing that this regime refuses to consider the interests of the citizens it officially regards as part of its people.

She continued: “I understand that the West does not want to deal with these causes, and I also understand that this contradicts everything they have done over the past years, but it is inevitable and they will have to do it eventually.”

The Eastern Economic Forum is holding its tenth session from September 3 to 6 at the Far Eastern Federal University campus in Vladivostok, with this year’s theme: “The Far East – Cooperation for Peace and Prosperity.”
