The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Thursday that Moscow and Kyiv exchanged 185 prisoners of war from each side.
It added, without going into details, that 20 civilians were also returned to Russia.
The ministry indicated that the exchange took place under the agreements reached during the latest round of direct peace talks between the two sides held in Istanbul on July 23.
