The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported that 4 Palestinians were killed on Thursday evening in an Israeli airstrike on the Sabra neighborhood south of Gaza City.

Medical sources stated that 4 Palestinians were martyred and 40 others were injured in an airstrike carried out by the Israeli occupation forces on the Sabra neighborhood south of Gaza City, in the central Gaza Strip, despite the announcement of a ceasefire agreement.

This raises the death toll in the Gaza Strip to 29 since dawn today.

Earlier today, Israel and Hamas signed a ceasefire agreement and a prisoner exchange deal releasing Israeli prisoners in exchange for Palestinian detainees, as part of the first phase of U.S. President Donald Trump’s plan to end the war in Gaza.

Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump said: “I will go to Egypt to attend the signing of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip,” noting that “there will be a signing ceremony in Egypt for the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.”

Trump added: “We managed yesterday to end the war in Gaza; it was a complicated process and we will seek to release the hostages,” explaining that “the hostages will be released on Monday or Tuesday,” according to Sky News Arabia.
