The Media Center of Damietta Port Authority issued a statement indicating that the port received 13 ships in the past 24 hours, while 8 ships departed. The total number of ships currently at the port is 26.

The outbound movement of general cargo reached 14,188 tons, including: 2,188 tons of packed cement, 9,840 tons of urea, 788 tons of clinker, 1,176 tons of packed gypsum powder, and 196 tons of various goods.

The inbound movement of general cargo reached 66,123 tons, including: 12,968 tons of beans, 7,478 tons of iron, 12,652 tons of scrap, 5,494 tons of plywood, 18,546 tons of corn, 696 tons of beech wood, and 8,289 tons of wheat.

The total container movement, both inbound and outbound, was 29 TEUs, while the number of transit containers reached 115 TEUs.

The balance of the public sector grain silo at the port for wheat reached 68,545 tons, while the private sector’s warehouse balance was 27,000 tons. Truck movements, both entering and exiting, totaled 4,482 movements.
