Manama, September 3 /BNA/ His Excellency Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, affirmed that the official visit made by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, to the Arab Republic of Egypt contributes to deepening historic partnerships, consolidating rooted ties, and the growing relations that link the two brotherly countries, thanks to the profound care and continuous support from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the great King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and his brother His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the brotherly Arab Republic of Egypt.

The Chairman of the Shura Council praised the valuable results and multiple outcomes of the official talks held between the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Excellency the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and His Excellency Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Egyptian Prime Minister, confirming that the bilateral talks embody the historic and strategic depth of the strong fraternal relations linking the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the keenness of both countries to sustain joint successes and developmental achievements that support the interests of the two brotherly countries.

His Excellency the Chairman of the Shura Council expressed pride and appreciation for the diligent efforts and sincere endeavors exerted by the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to consolidate fraternal relations and ties with brotherly and friendly countries, and the continuous pursuit to build developmental and strategic partnerships that support development and progress, ensuring the sustainability of growth and prosperity in all fields, affirming that His Royal Highness’s visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt represents an important milestone in the course of the relations and common ties between the two countries.

The Chairman of the Shura Council praised the outcomes of the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s visit, including the signing of a number of memorandums of understanding and ambitious agreements, which confirm the keenness of the two countries to advance cooperation and coordination fields, and support economic development and bilateral investment between the two countries, especially as the agreements and memorandums include encouraging investment projects, sustainable development, customs cooperation, tourism, labor and human resources, urban and regional planning, youth and sports, social insurance, social affairs, strategic cooperation in organizing exhibitions and joint markets, enhancing investment relations, antiquities and museums, competition protection, and aluminum industry.

The Chairman of the Shura Council said that the long-standing Bahraini-Egyptian relations have witnessed development and growth, and represent a distinguished model of fraternal relations, especially with the deep-rooted bonds of love and shared destiny between the two countries, affirming his council’s interest and keenness to continue work and extend parliamentary cooperation bridges with the Egyptian Senate and House of Representatives, supporting and backing everything that achieves the interests of the two brotherly countries and advances development and progress paths.
