During his visit today to Menoufia Governorate, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, the Prime Minister, along with his entourage, inspected the Family Medicine Center in Shamma village and the medical convoys in Ashmoun.
During the inspection, the Prime Minister listened to a detailed presentation by Dr. Rasha Khidr, Assistant Minister of Health for Primary Care, who explained that the center is part of the national project to develop Egyptian rural villages “Decent Life”. The center covers an area of about 2,500 square meters, consisting of 3 floors with a total of 45 rooms.
The Assistant Minister also pointed out the medical services provided inside the center, which include 17 diverse services through presidential initiative clinics, family medicine clinics, women’s clinics and pregnancy follow-up, in addition to other specialties such as dentistry, pediatrics, obesity, emergency, physical therapy, and pharmacy. These distinguished medical services serve more than 36,000 citizens.
Madbouly also held a dialogue with a group of patients visiting the center, inquiring about the quality of services provided and their benefit from the presidential initiatives. The patients expressed their satisfaction and appreciation for the excellent services provided by the center. The Prime Minister also inspected the presidential initiatives clinic and listened to a detailed explanation of the procedures and implementation mechanisms to ensure maximum benefit for patients.
The Prime Minister listened to requests from some patients to add new specialties to the center and inquired from the pharmacy officials about the availability of various medicines, especially for blood pressure, diabetes, endemic diseases, and infant formula.
After completing his tour at the Shamma Family Medicine Center, the Prime Minister inspected the multidisciplinary health initiatives convoy. Dr. Mostafa Madbouly listened to an explanation from Dr. Shaimaa Nagdy, coordinator of the medical convoys in Menoufia Governorate, who explained that the convoy included 6 mobile clinics covering internal medicine, gynecology, surgery, dentistry, in addition to the pharmacy and radiology unit.
She pointed out the organization of a series of medical convoys in Shamma village affiliated with Ashmoun center under the supervision of the Medical Convoys Department at the Health Directorate, over the two days of September 13 and 14, benefiting about 2,140 citizens from the medical services provided during that period.
At the end of his inspection tour, the Prime Minister praised all medical teams and participants in this distinguished effort to serve patients and citizens within the governorate, affirming that this work greatly contributes to providing high-quality medical services to alleviate burdens on citizens nationwide.
