Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, the Prime Minister, along with his entourage, inspected today, Tuesday, the construction works of the new Egyptian-Japanese school in Shebin El Kom, Monufia Governorate.

The Prime Minister reiterated the importance of expanding the establishment of more Egyptian-Japanese schools across the country, considering the distinguished educational experience they offer, which helps students acquire more skills and knowledge provided by these schools.

During the inspection, Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, pointed to the ministry’s efforts to expand the number of Egyptian-Japanese schools, as well as the cooperation and coordination with the Japanese side to participate in managing and operating this distinguished type of schools nationwide. He noted the group of specialized Japanese experts who recently arrived in Egypt to participate in managing and operating the Egyptian-Japanese schools, implementing presidential directives to ensure the highest quality standards in applying the distinguished Japanese educational model within these schools.

Major General Ibrahim Abou Lemon, Governor of Monufia, during the tour, indicated that the governorate currently has two Egyptian-Japanese schools: the first in Shebin El Kom with 14 classrooms, and the second in Quesna with 22 classrooms. The construction of the new third school in Shebin El Kom is nearing completion and is planned to include 14 classrooms on an area of 4600 square meters.
