New Delhi, August 8 /BNA/ Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi agreed today, Thursday, with Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva to enhance cooperation between the two countries in areas including trade, energy, defense, and technology. The Indian Prime Minister’s office stated that Modi received a phone call from Lula da Silva during which they agreed to strengthen cooperation in trade, technology, energy, defense, agriculture, health, and people-to-people relations. According to the statement, both sides confirmed their commitment to elevate the strategic partnership between India and Brazil to new horizons and exchanged views on various regional and global issues of mutual interest.
