UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer arrived this evening in the city of Sharm El-Sheikh to participate in the Peace Summit hosted by Egypt, with the participation of several leaders and heads of states and governments.
Upon his arrival, Starmer confirmed that the United Kingdom will support the next phase of negotiations to ensure the full implementation of the peace plan.
Starmer was received at Sharm El-Sheikh International Airport by several Egyptian officials and members of the British diplomatic mission in Cairo.
The summit, which begins tomorrow, will address efforts to support stability in the Middle East, discuss ways to stop escalation in tense areas, and enhance international cooperation to face humanitarian and economic challenges in the region.
The UK Prime Minister is expected to hold several bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the summit with some of the participating leaders to discuss regional and international issues of common interest.
