Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that he will convene the government to approve a ceasefire, according to a statement from his office.

The Hamas movement announced reaching an agreement to end the war on Gaza, including the withdrawal of the occupation, entry of aid, and prisoner exchange.

Hamas said in a statement that this was achieved after responsible and serious negotiations conducted by the movement and Palestinian resistance factions regarding President Trump’s proposal in Sharm El-Sheikh, aiming to end the extermination war on the Palestinian people and the withdrawal of the occupation from Gaza.

Hamas expressed high appreciation for the efforts of mediators in Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey, and also praised the efforts of U.S. President Donald Trump seeking to permanently end the war and achieve full withdrawal of the occupation from Gaza.

Hamas called on President Trump, the guarantor countries of the agreement, and various Arab, Islamic, and international parties to compel the Israeli government to fully implement the agreement’s obligations and not allow it to renege or delay the application of what was agreed upon.

Hamas saluted the great Palestinian people in Gaza, Jerusalem, the West Bank, inside and outside the homeland, who recorded unprecedented stances of pride, heroism, and honor, confronting the fascist occupation projects targeting them and their national rights; these sacrifices and great stances thwarted the Israeli occupation’s plans for subjugation and displacement.

It confirmed that the sacrifices of the Palestinian people will not be in vain, and that they will remain committed to the pledge, not abandoning their national rights until freedom, independence, and self-determination are achieved.
