His Excellency Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, praised the high-level outcomes of the official visit by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt. The visit reflects the keenness to develop the historic friendship ties between the two brotherly countries and to enhance all aspects of bilateral cooperation and strategic partnership.

His Excellency pointed to the importance of the visit in consolidating the close bonds between the two countries and peoples, and strengthening partnership and coordination in various fields, under the care and attention of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and his brother, His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of Egypt.

He confirmed that the meeting between the Crown Prince and Prime Minister and the Egyptian President and Prime Minister, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, covered vital topics and praised the joint agreements and effective partnerships, marking an important milestone to continue joint cooperation and advance bilateral relations towards achieving desired aspirations and goals.

His Excellency also highlighted the Bahraini and Egyptian stance on consolidating the pillars of security and stability in the region, supporting the Arab joint action march, enhancing international peace and stability efforts, and reaffirming the firm position of the two brotherly countries supporting the Palestinian cause.

He expressed deep appreciation for the progress and development witnessed in Bahraini-Egyptian relations, especially in the economic and investment fields, and the shared keenness to create more future opportunities and enhance the role of the private sector, which forms a fundamental pillar in consolidating fruitful cooperation through bilateral initiatives and projects contributing to diversifying sources of economic growth for the benefit and prosperity of both countries and peoples.

He added that holding the Egyptian-Bahraini Business Forum during the official visit represents a vital milestone in enhancing joint economic relations and opening broader horizons for cooperation and investment, embodying a true partnership between private sector institutions in the two brotherly countries.

His Excellency confirmed parliamentary support from both the Bahraini and Egyptian Councils of Representatives to enhance the development of bilateral cooperation and follow up on the implementation of joint programs in the legislative and parliamentary field and in all developmental areas, especially economic and investment fields.
