Today, Tuesday, 114 aid trucks crossed from the Rafah land crossing in North Sinai towards the Kerem Abu Salem crossing, en route to delivery to the relevant Palestinian authorities.
A specialized source at the Rafah land crossing in North Sinai confirmed that 114 trucks carrying relief and humanitarian aid were brought in, including food supplies, medical materials, medicines, water tankers, and fuel. These were provided by several local and international bodies, including: 27 trucks from the UAE, 28 trucks from the United Nations (UN), 18 trucks from the Egyptian Red Crescent, 10 trucks from the National Alliance for Developmental Civil Work, 22 trucks directed to the Egyptian camp, 9 trucks from Qatar, in addition to 3 solar fuel trucks to operate hospitals in the Gaza Strip.
The source indicated that the total number of trucks that entered from Rafah land crossing to Kerem Abu Salem crossing since July 27 until last Sunday reached 6,467 trucks of relief and humanitarian aid for the benefit of Gaza residents.
He explained that the trucks carried about 47,000 tons of humanitarian and relief aid, noting that the total fuel trucks entering Gaza since that date amounted to only 23 trucks carrying more than 900 tons of solar fuel needed to operate hospitals.
According to previous statistics, since October 7, 2023, 37,412 various aid trucks have entered through Rafah land crossing, in addition to 28,584 tons of gas, 60,345 tons of solar fuel, and 1,266 tons of gasoline, during the period before the suspension of humanitarian aid entry to Gaza from the Egyptian side on March 27.
