The Syrian Commercial Bank announced a new service enabling retirees to withdraw their financial entitlements using ATM cards issued by the bank, through the outlets of Al-Haram Pyramid Money Transfers Company.

According to a statement from the Commercial Bank, this measure, which responds to directives from the Minister of Finance, aims to improve the disbursement of retirees’ salaries and facilitate procedures, reduce congestion in front of ATMs, and provide comfortable alternatives to receive monthly salaries. The service will be available especially at the beginning of each month to ensure faster and easier access for beneficiaries.

The new expansion includes areas far from bank branches, such as the city of Idlib and the eastern region, in addition to some neighborhoods in the city of Hama, ensuring the service reaches a wider segment of citizens, especially the elderly, and reduces their burden of travel and waiting.

This step is part of several measures the Commercial Bank is taking to serve citizens.

Previously, on July 10, the Syrian Commercial Bank announced raising the cash withdrawal limit from electronic payment card accounts to 600,000 Syrian pounds weekly from ATMs.
