The Science Center affiliated with the Children’s Civilization and Creativity Center “Children’s Museum” concludes this Friday morning the activities of World Space Week, which the center organized over a week, joining 90 countries worldwide in their celebrations of World Space Week, an international celebration of science and technology and their contribution to improving human conditions.

The Science Center at the Children’s Civilization and Creativity Center (Children’s Museum) participated with several activities starting from Tuesday, October 7 to Thursday, October 9. The events included an astronaut activity where participants learned about the lives of astronauts and the challenges they face during their missions. A model astronaut was created, and participants engaged in a space farming activity exploring farming methods used by space agencies and the importance of agriculture for living beings. Each participant made a hydroponic farming model.

Participants also learned about the journey of the first satellite, Sputnik 1, launched in 1957 from the Soviet Union. Children took part in group games, interactive activities, and handicrafts.
