The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz sent a condolence and sympathy message to General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council of Sudan, regarding the victims of the landslide that occurred in Jebel Marra in western Sudan.

King Salman said: “We learned of the occurrence of a landslide in Jebel Marra in western Sudan, resulting in deaths and injuries. We extend our deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to Your Excellency, the families of the deceased, and the brotherly people of the Republic of Sudan. We ask God Almighty to envelop the deceased with His vast mercy and forgiveness, grant patience and solace to their families, grant a speedy recovery to the injured, and protect you and the people of Sudan from all harm and evil. He is the All-Hearing, the Responsive.”

Similarly, Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman sent a condolence message to General al-Burhan.

The Crown Prince said: “I received the news of a landslide in Jebel Marra, western Sudan, resulting in deaths and injuries. I express my deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to Your Excellency and all the families of the deceased, asking God Almighty for mercy on the deceased, a speedy recovery for all the injured, and the safe return of the missing. He is the All-Hearing, the Responsive.”
