The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) announced reaching an agreement to end the war on the Gaza Strip, including the withdrawal of Israeli forces, entry of humanitarian aid, and prisoner exchange.
The announcement came after intensive negotiations in Sharm El-Sheikh regarding the American proposal, with Hamas praising the mediation efforts led by Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey. The movement also commended the efforts of U.S. President Donald Trump “seeking to permanently stop the war and ensure the complete withdrawal of the occupation from Gaza.”
Hamas called on President Trump and the guarantor countries to “oblige the occupation government to fully implement the agreement’s obligations and not allow it to evade or delay the application of what was agreed upon.”
Hamas saluted the Palestinian people “who demonstrated unmatched dignity, heroism, and honor,” affirming that “the sacrifices of our people will not be in vain, and we will remain committed to our pledge, never abandoning our national rights until freedom, independence, and self-determination are achieved.”
